Troop 39 traveled to the Kandersteg International Scout Centre in June of 2023. The Troop was able to participate in the celebration of KISC’s 100th Anniversary as a center for scouting. The 30+ scouts from Troop 39 met other scouts from all over the world, hiked, climbed, swam in glacial lakes, lunched in Italy one afternoon, and had a literal “high adventure” in the Swiss Alps. The troop generally plans a trip to KISC every four years.
