Order of the Arrow Representative:

1. Must be a registered member of the Order of the Arrow in good standing with both the Lodge and/or Chapter and the unit.
2. Appointed by the Senior Patrol Leader
3. Reports to the Assistant Senior Patrol Leader
4. Is mentored by the adult troop OA advisor

Responsibilities:

1. Serves as a communication link between the lodge or chapter and the troop
2. Attends at least 50% of Chapter monthly meetings and at least one ordeal weekend
3. Encourages year round and resident camping in the unit.
4. Encourages older Scout participation in high adventure programs.
5. Encourages Scouts to actively participate in community service projects.
6. Assists with leadership skills training in the unit.
7. Encourages Arrowmen to assume leadership positions in the unit.
8. Encourages Arrowmen in the unit to be active participants in the lodge and/or chapter activities and to seal their membership in the Order by becoming Brotherhood members.
9. Regularly attends troop meetings, troop campouts, and troop/team events during his service period.
10. Sets a good example.
11. Enthusiastically and correctly wears the scout uniform.
12. Lives by the Scout Oath and Law and the OA Obligation.
13. Shows Scout spirit.
