On Saturday October 22nd 2011, scouts from Troop 39, their leaders and parents participated in an event to kick off our year-long celebration of troop 39′s centenary.

The event consisted of a service project, a fun afternoon of exploration on campus, a pig picking and a visit from two special guests – Lord Baden-Powell and Mr Jim Mackorell.

In this final video in our series, Mr Mackorell talks about the troop’s commitment to our community.

On Saturday October 22nd 2011, scouts from Troop 39, their leaders and parents participated in an event to kick off our year-long celebration of troop 39′s centenary.

The event consisted of a service project, a fun afternoon of exploration on campus, a pig picking and a visit from two special guests – Lord Baden-Powell and Mr Jim Mackorell.

In this video, the fourth of the series, Mr Mackorell talks about the importance of leadership to the success of the troop.
