During the Summer of 2024, Troop 39 scouts participated in two high adventure trips.
For British High Adventure, 12 scouts + leaders traveled in June to Bristol, UK to participate in the 26th Bristol’s summer camp. Troop 39 and the 26th Bristol have been having semi-annual joint activities since 1980. In addition to a week at camp, the scouts spent about a week touring around Bristol and a few days in London.
Later in Jul, 6 scouts+leaders traveled to the Philmont Scout Ranch in New Mexico for two weeks of backcountry hiking.
