Troop 39 is a boy led troop. A boy led troop has a strong structure and good leadership, it also allows the scouts to have a strong say in the way that the troop is led. Each meeting is done by a patrol leader and the boys are watched over by the senior patrol leader. Each leadership role is a step towards earning eagle and is watched over by a troop 39 adult leader. Since we are a boy led troop, our scouts are given real roles in leading the troop and earn strong leadership skills that will help them in the lives, in and out of scouting.
