Personal TentTents are arranged by patrols Hammocks are an alternative to a tent but scouts must ensure they protect the trees and check with the leader to make sure they are permitted for the trip Sleep pad Sleeping bag (3 season bag minimum) Pillow Sleep wear Optional: light for inside the tent
Clothing
Appropriate clothing for the weather and environment Cold: thermal underwear, layers of non-cotton (poly-cotton blends OK); woolly hat; gloves, scarf, balaclavaWet: rain jacket; rain pantsHeat : shorts, T-shirts, sun hat, sunglassesEnvironment : long pants and sleeves prevent bug bites/poison ivy Appropriate clothing for the activitiesleaders will advise of any specific needs for the outing. Personal hygiene items (shampoo, soap, tooth brush, toothpaste, deoderant etc.) Towel Sunscreen Bug spray Medications (give to a leader if necessary)
