Troop 39 is a youth led troop. A youth led troop has a strong structure and good leadership, it also allows the scouts to have a strong say in the way that the troop is led. Each meeting is done by a patrol leader and the scouts are watched over by the senior patrol leader. Each leadership role is a step towards earning eagle and is watched over by a troop 39 adult leader. Since we are a youth led troop, our scouts are given real roles in leading the troop and earn strong leadership skills that will help them in the lives, in and out of scouting.
